Euro 2008 Germany Vs Turkey
Although Turkey had the upper hand right through the first half, Germany were on top in the second half. All 3 strikes by Schweinsteiger, Klose and Lahm were brilliant, but the winning goal by Lahm was exceptional. The 1-2 pass game play was executed brilliantly by him and it was a perfect strikers goal. I would have loved to see Turkey in the final since they have displayed remarkable talent and courage to reach this far. The fact that even with a second grade team, turkey were able to give germany a run for their money speaks volumes about their skills and their big heart. This also means that one of my predictions has gone wrong, I'm sure Spain won't disappoint me. Lets wait for the big one tommorrow.
Wimbledon 2008:
I was deeply disappointed with Novak Djokovic's exit from the championships. The 3rd seed was eliminated by Super Safin. While Marat is a Champion player, I expected Novak to be in the last 4. With 10 double faults in the match , something was terribly wrong with Djokovic in this match. He was not his usual aggressive self. Hope he recovers from this loss ad comes back strong in the next tournaments. He is definitely one player who can be banked upon after Fedex and Triple-Nadal.
