What a night for Spain. A stunning strikers goal by Torres was enough to lift the Euro 2008 for espana. It was truly a win of style over substance and art prevailing over power at the battle for europe.The score line should definitely have been 3-0 or 4-0, but even this slender lead was enough to establish Spain in the reckoning for the World cup. As Luis Aragones has mentioned it is going to be a tough task for his successor to handle such a talented and stylish team. Nine spaniards made it to the Euro's best team, including Villa and Torres as the strikers alongwith Arshavin of Russia. This goes to show the talent in the Spanish team and their overall dominance in the Euro. So my prediction didnt go wrong in the end: "Sabía que España ganará"
